Luminar 3.1.0

Following on from an update to improve its overall performance, Luminar from Sklyum has had another update to improve its library, synchronisation and AI features.

Accent AI has helped photographers speed up their workflow, automatically handling common tasks such as adjusting shadows, highlights and contrast and with the 3.1.0 update, this tool now, also, features facial and object recognition technology. Plus, the Accent AI tool now performs more careful colour correction, as well as a smarter detail boost.

As well as improvements to the Accent AI tool, Skylum has made the following changes:

  • Photographers can now easily organise file pairs in a more convenient way
  • Synchronise image adjustments across your photographs. Image layers, crop, erase, clone & stamp no longer affect syncing
  • You can now copy photos to a folder right from inside Luminar.
  • Now it’s easier to precisely select and deselect photos in your Gallery.

Up-coming updates include IPTC edit and sync, more AI features, performance improvements and additional camera support.

Prices start at £56 and existing Luminar 3 users can upgrade for free.
