Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II

The Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II is a bridge compact camera that brings a couple of changes/additions to the original FZ1000 released a few years ago.

Bluetooth is now built-in and so is a 3.0-inch, 1,250k-dot 180-degree rear monitor which is now touch-control but the 16x optical LEICA certified zoom lens and the 20.1MP sensor is the same as you find in the original FZ1000.

4K Photo and Video are built in along with a Zoom Compose Assist (new), a new minimum aperture of f/11, 5-axis Hybrid O.I.S.+, high-speed burst shooting, Wi-Fi and various photo styles. Plus, thanks to 4K Photo/Video, you can capture footage at 30fps and choose the best image from it with the help of a newly added 'Auto Marking' feature. Other interesting 4K Photo functions include Post Focus, Focus Stacking and the ability to combine multiple images.

The FZ1000 II has been equipped with a quick start-up time and autofocus speeds of approximately 0.09 seconds. A burst rate of 12fps (AFS), plus a high-speed (electronic) shutter sporting 1/16000 seconds also feature.

Video enthusiasts can record 4K (QFHD) footage in a 3840x2160 pixel resolution at 30/25/24p.

As for its design, it is very similar to the FZ1000 with just a few buttons moved around and if you don't want to use the rear monitor, there is a 0.39-inch OLED Live View Finder has a 2,360k-dot resolution and 0.74x magnification.

The Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 II will be available from the end of March 2019 for £769.99.

Panasonic has also released the Lumix TZ95 travel zoom today with a new live viewfinder.

Yes! Yes! Yes!
Camera lens barrel comes with focal length markings! I have been talking for them since the beginning of time, it feels. This helps photographing with consistency. Time you did something about it Panasonic. Well done!
