Lynny Lens have had to pull their product from sale.

Lynny, which created a lens that had a flexible body that was squeezed to focus the lens, stated on their website: "There was no way around it – if it's going to function the way it does, having a flexible lens body – then there will be (and has been) raised legal issues with the products which carry the same design feature, which have been patented as such."

Lynny claim that they never intended to copy another product, stating: "From generation one, and through many months of designing, to generation six, [the Lynny Lens] was a product designed by inspiration of another. Do not mistake it for a copy, as it was not, in any way, intended to be a copy."

Lynny has stated that it plans to return with three new lenses. In the meantime, Take a look our Lynny Lens review, and comparison review of the Lynny lens with a Lensbaby Spark.
