A magical multiple-exposure image of the night sky above an impressive rock formation has been awarded the POTW accolade this week.
| ePHOTOzineA really impressive long-exposure image created from multiple exposures has been awarded the POTW accolade this week.
The image, titled 'Magic Mountain' by ePz member CraigBill, really caught the eye of the team and here's why:
The colours in this multiple long-exposure image are just stunning, and it's hard to believe that this image is created from reality. The amount of effort that has gone into creating this image is commendable - the camera hasn't moved a millimeter throughout everything, ensuring a sharp end-result.
Not only does this capture feature the impressive circle pattern created by the earth's movement, but it also has some stunning foreground to lead the viewer's eye to the main event.
The rock formation adds contrasting textures to the smooth lines created by the stars, and could be something out of a western movie. Overall this is a breathtaking image that would look impressive on any wall.
Photo of the week winners currently receive a 64GB MicroSD card with SD adapter courtesy of Samsung. See all the images that have won the accolade in the POTW Gallery.
