The only limitation is where your arms can reach. Not anymore. Manfrotto’s GimBoom was designed with one objective in mind - allow gimbal users to extend their shooting range without adding heavy and complicated gear to their arsenal. Measuring just 51cm when fully closed and with a lightweight carbon fibre build capable of supporting up to 6.5kg at the maximum extension, GimBoom allows users to extend their shooting from ground level up to 3.5m while maintaining the stabilization that propels their footage to the next level. In addition, thanks to its standard 3/8”and 1/4” top attachment screw, Gimboom also guarantees seamless connection with the Gimbals available on the market

Level up your game

GimBoom was designed to empower users to manoeuvre their gimbals in ways that they would otherwise need drones or complicated dolly systems to accomplish. Featuring state of the art Fast Twisting Lock Technology the Gimboom deploys instantly with a simple twisting motion that locks or adjusts it into various positions so shooters can easily capture a larger range of shots including aerial views and ground-level shooting that would be impossible with just a handheld rig.

In the field the GimBoom’s extended range of 1.15m allows creators to choose from a large variety of aerial angles when composing their shots. And weighing just 800g and with a closed length of 51cm, GimBoom is also exceptionally compact and lightweight making it easy to bring along wherever you travel due to its hand baggage compatible size. Made with carbon fibre tubes and machined aluminium components for the best mechanical performance, this lightweight accessory provides impressive stability even when working with Gimbals that support larger professional camera systems.

If the operator needs a break, GimBoom is fitted with a rubber cap on one end to allow a comfortable and easy placing on the ground avoiding any possible damage. While along the shaft three thread connectors arranged at 120° give the GimBoom the possibility of being paired with dedicated GimBoom accessories, allowing users to create a truly professional rig.

Whether you are a new Pro Filmmaker, videographer, vlogger or influencer, GimBoom’s ability to enhance your content creation to the next level is guaranteed to transform this portable accessory into essential gear for the entire creative community.
