Manfrotto KLYP Case With 24 LED Light Handling
The KLYP case comes in four parts, there is the two parts of the actual case itself as well as adaptors for the tripod and light connection. To fit the case you slip your phone into the bottom part and then slide the top on, which clips into place. You can slide the two adapters into any of the slots available. Once you've connected the tripod adapter your iPhone 5 is ready to be attached to most tripods, we've used the Manfrotto PIXI Mini.
When you've attached the adaptor for the light, the light attached by slipping its connector in and twisting the wheels to lock it firmly in place. It's easy to do and the wheel nearest the flash can be undone to adjust the direction which the flash is facing. The flash is fairly quick to remove, but can be awkward if you receive a phone call while the flash it attached, it doesn't get in the way but you might look a bit strange!
The light is powered by two AAA batteries, with an estimated life of around 40 mins. It is switched on by the dial on the side which also allows you to adjust the strength of the light being emitted. When switching it on and off you'll hear a click.

Manfrotto KLYP Case With 24 LED Light Verdict
The KLYP case is good if you want to attach your iPhone to a tripod for sharper pictures and it will offer your phone some protection if dropped. The LED light is good for taking close-up pictures of people in dark situations, possibly in the pub or a club. The problem being is that you probably would look out of place with the light attached to your phone in these situations. It's a decent product, but perhaps a solution to a problem that most iPhone users haven't got.Manfrotto KLYP Case With 24 LED Light Pros

Like all external lights and flashguns this light needs a bit of diffusing. You can place a bit of tracing paper over it, held with masking or gaffer tape. This will help diffuse the light for close up and subject up about 1 meter away.
As the light is diffused it will make the light ineffective to subjects over 1m, so please remember to remove the tracing paper.
I use the Klyp case with the 645 PRO app for greater control of exposure.
