Manfrotto XPRO Monopod+ Family Announced

Manfrotto has announced a range of Manfrotto Tripods, designed to give a new level of flexibility, thanks to a tilting "FLUIDTECH" fluid base foot that the bottom of the tripod can attach to. The Full Fluid Base is available as a kit with all the new XPRO video Monopod+, but also available as an accessory to convert the new XPRO Photo Monopod+ to video monopods.

The new XPRO Video Monopod+ range comprises six high-performance models featuring an exciting market-first: 3D fluid movement – on pan, tilt and swivel – for compellingly smooth video footage, powered by Manfrotto’s new Full Fluid Base, a pioneering technological innovation based on a spherical system located inside the base. The new range includes extremely agile travel solutions for shooting video (the ultra-compact alu and carbon versions) that effortlessly slip into a backpack.

The video monopod family also includes different camera connections, i.e. simple plate with 1/4”-3/8” thread, sliding plate system, 2-way fluid head and video head.

The new XPRO Monopod+ photo range is specially designed for performance in fields such as sports photography, birdwatching, travel and nature photography. It comes in five versions, including a high payload version to support the heaviest equipment and long lenses (up to 10kg/22lbs). With the Full Fluid Base accessory, the photo monopods can also be used for shooting smooth videos.

All the new XPRO Monopod+ Photo and Video legs feature the Quick Power Lock system: extreme locking grip released with the movement of a single hand for rapid, easy set up that enables image makers to move quickly and confidently. The new rubber leg warmer dramatically increases comfort and grip.
