3 Legged Thing Punks Patti General Use Tripod from 3leggedthing on Vimeo.
Designed for general use, 3 Legged Thing’s Punks Patti is the first 3LT tripod named after a female rockstar; as well as the first one with flip locks on the legs. Patti is also the first with a suggested retail price below £100, making her an ideal starter tripod for users of compact, bridge, mirrorless cameras, and lightweight DSLRs.
The legs are extended and secured in position with the simple-to-use, rugged flip locks. Patti’s legs can be used at 3 optimal angles 23 degrees, 55 degrees, and 80 degrees (almost on the ground), and each of the legs can be positioned and adjusted individually, which is particularly useful on uneven ground.
With 4-section legs and a single section column, Patti is an incredibly stable general use tripod that can support up to 10 kg / 22 lb of camera gear, more than other tripods in this class.
Patti has a removable and reversible centre column which is ideal for low level shooting or macro photography.
Just 455 mm / 17.9 “ when counter-folded, Patti extends to a full height of 1.63 m / 64 “, and weighs 1.55 kg / 3.4 lb, making her extremely versatile, and perfect for a wide variety of photographic situations.
Patti will be available on 15th September 2018, but can be pre-ordered now via 3 Legged Thing’s website or your local camera retailer.
