Scopes and Telescopes

Minox NV Mini arrivesFor all low-light activities, whatever they may be, Minox have developed a very small and lightweight night vision 'scope, the Minox NV Mini which lets you observe your subjects with utmost discretion, even in advanced twilight. Minox is already well established as a reliable brand of binoculars and multifunctional measuring equipment for all kinds of outdoor activities and the new Minox NV Mini will add to their reputation in this area.

When binoculars approach their optical limits, even those with top-end light-gathering power and high twilight factors, this is when night-vision comes into its own. The remaining natural light - even light conditions where the human eye is unable to function - will be fully amplified with night vision. The outstanding multicoated lens system reproduces viewed subjects to both a clear and sharp image. The optical system of the NV mini gives a 2x magnification. When the available light is not sufficient, an integrated infrared illuminator can be switched on. This additional luminous source, not perceivable by the human eye, provides comfortable observation even in total darkness.

Ultra compact dimensions of only 33 x 41 x 107mm and its minimal weight of only 180g make the NV mini so ideal for many uses. As well as its outstanding technical qualities, it also enjoys exceptional design that is good to the eye. The ergonomic shape of the body, which is partially coated with rubber armouring, permits noiseless and reliable handling. The NV mini has been designed and produced to be the ideal travel companion for all outdoor activities at night or in poor lighting conditions.

The Minox NV Mini will be available from early April 2004.
