writers, launched this month, to record a full 650Mb onto disc in just three

24x technology is the latest development in the media industry to enable the
rapid and accurate recording of data onto CD. Increasing media write speeds to
24x enables users to record a full disc in a few minutes compared to the full
hour that was required at the basic 1x speed. While other media manufacturers
need to reformulate their CD-Rs to accommodate faster drives, the flexibility
and durability of Mitsuis Phthalocyanine dye technology has enabled the Company

prolongs the life of any CD-R drive, as it is more transparent than alternative
Azo or Cyanine dyes, using less laser power each time a disk is recorded.
