Enables auto focus at f8? It didn't do auto focus at f8 already? WTF? Maybe Canon forgot that they had professional photographers shooting with 800mm f5.6 lenses that are mounted on tele-converters. Makes you wonder, huh? You buy a 1.4x tele-converter for your monster 800mm f5.6 lens, then you get the new and ridiculously expensive flagship camera from Canon, so you can take full advantage of the light that monster lens is capturing, and it doesn't work as well as your 7 D did before you bought your tele-converter and that shiny new, state-of-the-art camera, that was somehow crippled by software from the factory. Duh. Priceless.

I bet there have been some pissed-off professional photographers. I bet the Sony A99 isn't crippled like that. Of course, it IS crippled in speed. Instead of being able to shoot 12 fps, like the other 24 megapixel Sony, this brand new 24 megapixel Sony is somehow only able to achieve half that (6 fps). WTF? What's wrong with this picture?
