Macphun has teamed up with a world-renowned HDR photographer to co-develop a new piece of HDR photo editing software called Aurora HDR.

Macphun has today expanded its line-up of Mac editing software with the launch of Aurora HDR - software that's been co-developed with Trey Ratcliff, a photographer who is known the world over for his rather cool HDR photography.
Designed exclusively for the Mac platform, the new HDR software features several algorithms that allow the photographer to create a variety of HDR looks, from natural to highly stylised, and as with all Macphun software, one-click presets are available to speed up the editing process.
Tools available include layers, masking and a wide variety of brushes, plus unique radiance controls and custom texture blending options are available. A variety of file types, including RAW, are supported in Aurora HDR and the software can work as a standalone app or as a plug-in with Photoshop and other applications. Other features include extensive colour and toning controls, detail enhancement and built-in sharing options so images can be easily shared with others on social networks.
As with all Macphun's Mac editing software applications, including Macphun Intensify, Aurora HDR is available either as a standard or Pro version. As mentioned, the Pro version works as a plug-in with a variety of photo editing applications and it also features signature presets created by Trey Ratcliff.
Aurora HDR Pro is available for pre-order from today (9 November 2015) and both versions will be available for purchase on 19 November 2015 with the Standard version having an introductory price of $39.99 (normally $49.99) and Aurora HDR Pro will be available for $89.99 (normal SRP: $99.99).
For more information or to pre-order the Pro version, visit the Macphun Aurora HDR website. More details on the new software can also be found on Trey's website: Stuck In Customs and in the video below.
