Widescreen Centre are importing new Silma Super-8 projectors that were
discovered in a overseas warehouse. Most of the boxes are unopened and have been
sitting untouched for some twenty years.
Over a period of time, most of the drive bands have perished so the stock is being checked first making sure each model runs sweetly.
The projectors have totally swing-open lens mounts so that you can directly access the gate aperture for cleaning. All are fitted with zoom lenses. There are two models: the Silma 120 which is a fine piano key operated model for 125 and the 150 Silma Telematic that accepts 800ft reels. This machine is also supplied with a long remote control lead with all the projector functions duplicated at the end on an extra hand control, so that you can sit in the comfort of an arm chair and present the show without getting up. Carriage in the UK is 20.
