Aurora 2017

Macphun has revealed a sneak peek at Aurora HDR 2017, the new version of its MAC HDR photo editing tool, which has 20 key improvements and new features.

Aurora 2017 introduces a number of new tools and improvements, including batch processing, reworked Tone Mapping and Bracket Merging technologies, a Polarise Filter, plus new presets created by HDR pros.

Rendering RAW files will also be much faster, with the enhanced tone mapping algorithm bringing more realistic HDR merging, without extra noise and detail loss. Batch processing will allow users to create multiple HDR images using a custom style and import more brackets, whilst the Polarise filter emulates the polarisation filter added to a lens, giving colours more depth.

Aurora 2017

Aurora 2017 will be available for pre-order on 14 September on the Aurora HDR website and will officially launch on 29 September with an RRP of $99.

Current users of Aurora HDR Pro can upgrade to Aurora HDR 2017 at a special pre-order price of $49 while current users of the standard version of Aurora HDR can upgrade to Aurora HDR 2017 at a special pre-order price of $69. New customers can pre-order Aurora HDR 2017 for $89.
