Douglas Software have announced the latest version of its Solar and Lunar database for Windows, a vital utility for photographers – or anyone who needs to know the position of the Sun and Moon from any location at any time.

The Sun and Moon Calculator V4.4.2 includes a host of unique features such as lunar phase and the ability to see the sun and moon as they are currently in the sky.

Douglas Software’s easy to follow manual doesn’t just explain how to use the software – it explains how to really work natural lighting. All a user needs to know – from twilight shots to the best natural lighting angles for architectural photography. Covering over 1,600 preset locations in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, including latitude, longitude and time zone – or the user can create their own database for any location on Earth.
