Full-Frame Nikon Z9 Development Officially Announced: Z9

Nikon has announced that they are working on the full-frame Nikon Z9, which will be the first flagship Z-mount camera and is due to be released this year (2021). They have shared this product shot, although the appearance of the camera may differ. The camera will use a newly developed full-frame stacked CMOS sensor, a new processing engine, and 8K video recording, which means the camera will have a sensor with a resolution of at least 33.1 megapixels (as this is the resolution of an 8K frame). Further information is unknown, and we don't know the expected price or the release date.

Millions of us are still waiting for the mirrorless camera with an optical viewfinder. If it's not in this iteration we'll have hold onto our money(and our DSLRs) and continue the wait.
