Nikon D6 DSLR Camera Is In Development

The Nikon D6 professional DSLR has been announced, along with the AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR telephoto zoom lens but we don't know much about the lens or DSLR.

The Nikon D6 DSLR will be released but as of yet, we don't know when. Plus, the Nikkor 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR telephoto zoom, compatible with the Nikon FX-format cameras, is also in development. 


The development of the D6 coincides with the 20th anniversary of the single-digit D-series which began with the Nikon D1 in 1999 and, so far, also includes the Nikon D2, D3, D4 and the latest Nikon D5

As well as a new DSLR, Nikon has also announced the development of the AF-S Nikkor 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR lens which celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Nikon F mount adopted for the D-series.

Release dates and retail prices for these products will be announced at a later date.
