Want a glimpse of the Nikon Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera? Well, you can... sort of.
| Mirrorless Cameras
Nikon, finally, officially announced that they're working on a full-frame mirrorless camera and along with the announcement, a teaser video and the above image was released.
Neither gives many clues away on what we can expect to see but nevertheless, it's an announcement that's got the photography world talking.
Here's what we know so far:
- New lens mount
- New NIKKOR lenses in development for the camera
- Compatible with Nikon F mount lenses with an adapter (in development)
Nikon also said they will continue to develop DSLRs, too, so expect to see more of these arriving.
As for when the new Nikon full-frame mirrorless camera will appear as more than just a shape in a shadowy photo, quite a few are expecting it to go on display at this year's Photokina which takes place 26-29 September. ePHOTOzine will be there so if it does appear at the show, we'll be bringing you all of the photos and spec announcements.
