Nikon In Space - A Time-Lapse View Of The World

Nikon has created an awesome timelapse video to celebrate their 100th anniversary.

As part of their 100th anniversary celebrations, Nikon have created a timelapse view of the earth from space. 

In this stunning video, thousands of images are compiled into a timelapse of the earth spinning taken from space. It's possible to see lightning strikes, and lights from the major cities of the world - it's really quite breathtaking.

Nikon has a rich history in space, beginning with the Photomic FTN camera, a modified Nikon F camera used aboard the Apollo 15 in 1971. Nikon cameras have been used in every manned space flight since then.
