Caught in a creative black hole: VictorVictor Habbick is a photographer, artist, designer and member of ePHOTOzine's Pro critique team. His work is published world wide and he supplies stock markets on a regular basis. His advice will range from kit choices and editing software to supplying agencies and finding inspiration. He describes his work as having commercial sensibilities with a touch of the surreal and you can find out more about this by visiting his ePHOTOzine profile or by visiting his personal website: Victor Habbick.

Here's his tip:

"At one time or another we are all caught in a creative black hole. Unable to find any enthusiasm for this photography thing its time to get out. Sure many of us will sit at home and surf the web hoping to get inspired by something that we may come across and in many cases that is all that is required to give us that jump start. Personally I have to get away from the screen and all things computer, it tends to enclose around you after a while and can be just as creatively debilitating.

Why not go out to a local gallery or two. There is sure to be some exhibition going on somewhere or a local gallery where you can walk around and view the many great works of art. I have learned more about lighting in photography from the great art masters than from any photographer.

Soak in the atmosphere, grab a coffee and try to relax you will return prepared to face the camera once more and I'm sure inspired enough to face your next challenge."

Caught in a creative black hole: The Dali Walk

'The Dali Walk'  was taken in the Glasgow Art Galleries on one of may visits when I need to get out and inspired.
