Nokia have revealed the 8.3 5G, featuring a ZEISS quad-camera setup with a 64MP sensor at its heart. Also announced are the Nokia 5.3 and 1.3.
| Camera PhonesNokia has announced their first 5G phone, an affordable model bringing 5G to the masses, the 8.3 5G.
Nokia say the 8.3 5G is the world's first truly global 5G smartphone. It features a ZEISS camera setup in a circular set on the rear.
The phone is set for feature in the latest Bond movie, No Time To Die, along with the Nokia 7.2.
The camera setup is a Pureview quad camera with ZEISS optics. At the heart of it is a 64 megapixel sensor and there's also a macro camera, depth camera and ultra wide camera. The ultra-wide camera has a large 2.8 micron pixel size - giving incredible performance in low light.
Nokia say the phone exculsively features ZEISS cinematic effects giving you amazing visuals. Always on HDR and adaptive display give you ease of viewing in all lighting conditions.
It has a 6.8 inch display and a 'classic Nordic design'. A Qualcomm 765G processor has been used. Debuting ZEISS Cinema capture and editor and bringing extraordinary low-light video recording with OZO audio, the Nokia 8.3 5G is the ideal smartphone for those who want to create without limits.
The Nokia 803 5G will be available for 599 euros from Summer 2020.

Also announced was the Nokia 5.3 which is a budget smartphone that will be available for 189 euros. It will feature clean Android 10, and an advanced camera with portrait and macro modes.

Nokia 1.3
The Nokia 1.3 is a basic smartphone featuring Android Go and a HDR camera for less than £100.
Nokia say premium nordic design and craftmanship is in their DNA. They have received 6 awards from the iF design awards so far.
They promise to be 'pure secure and always up to date' in terms of Android, guaranteeing at least 3 years of regular security updates.
The Nokia 1.3 is available to buy in the UK from Argos, Amazon, Carphone Warehouse, Very and Nokia.com/phones starting at £79.99.
Also announced was HMD connect global data roaming service, basically an in-house mobile network, allowing you to pay for only what you need in terms of data.
