Northumberland Sunrise Seascape Wins 'Photo Of The Week'

The pastel tones of an English sunrise, bathing a beach in subdued light is what fills the frame of this week's 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) winner on ePHOTOzine. 

Titled 'Light on the Horizon', the winning image was captured by chris-p on the stunning Northumberland coast where beaches stretch for miles making it a landscape photographers perfect location. 

We love the S-shape that guides the eye through the image, pulling you in towards the background where sunrise colours are just starting to decorate the sky. We also love the textures created by the tide with the line of seabirds adding dots of interest through the top of the frame. 

It's a lovely seascape shot that's even making us want to get out of bed during the early hours to capture a beautiful sunrise.

Then, the ePHOTOzine team will count up the likes and our first 'Photo of the Year' winner will be announced.
