A calm and serene panoramic image of a Norwegian harbour has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade this week.
| ePHOTOzineA panoramic image of a Norwegian harbour has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade this week.
The image, titled 'Hamnoy harbour' was taken by ePz member LLCJ, and here's why the team thought it deserved to win the accolade:
This is a stunning landscape which the choice of panoramic vista works really well with. The angular and snow-covered mountains create an epic backdrop for the harbour settlement in the foreground which has a real frontier feel to it.
The red of the houses adds a pop of colour to the otherwise quite muted colour palette. The panorama has been framed really well to encompass the reflections in the water of the epic mountains and the clouds reaching across the sky help to lead the eye as well as adding the threat of imminent bad weather.
It's a calm, still image and you can almost feel the cool air through the image as you take it all in.
Photo of the Week winners currently receive a 64GB MicroSD card with SD adapter from Samsung. Please note that due to the current situation with Covid-19, there will be a delay with sending these out – thanks for your patience.
