Verdict

The Olloclip is a three-in-one lens for the iPhone 4 and 4S, including macro, fish-eye and wide-angle lenses and is small enough to fit in your pocket. It is available to order now for £58 from Amazon.

Olloclip 3-In-One iPhone Photo Lens Handling and features
The Olloclip attaches to your iPhone by clipping it onto the top right where the camera is. Other iPhone lenses we have used before require a case to attached the lens to, but it's great that Olloclip have designed it to work by attaching in the corner, although it does cover the lock screen button and you will have to take your regular case off to use. It can go both ways with one side being the wide-angle lens and the other being the fisheye. The wide-angle lens can be twisted off to reveal the macro lens. The Olloclip comes with a microfibre lens bag that also acts as a cleaning cloth, as well as lens caps for both ends. The fisheye lens has an appoximate field-of-view of 180°, the wide-angle lens expands the viewing angle by 2x and the macro applies roughly a 10X multiplier and has a focus distance of between 12 - 15mm.

We've split the images into the three different lenses below. More example can be seen in the Equipment Database. The Olloclip has been tested using an iPhone 4.Macro
The images produced are far better than any macro attempts with the iPhone 4 alone. The focal distance is quite limited, so it's close-up or nothing when using this lens, if you go further away the pictures are blurry.
Rose Macro | 1/17 sec | f/2.8 | 3.9 mm | ISO 1000

Fisheye
The fisheye is great fun, brilliant for taking portrait pictures of your friends. There is vignetting in each corner, but it doesn't matter, it's all part of the fun and can be cropped out if neccessary.![]() |

Fisheye
Wide-angle
The wide-angle lens proved to be slightly disappointed, with the vignetting appearing in two corners, but again this can be cropped out. Barrel distortion is clearly evident as well.
Wide-angle | 1/887 sec | f/2.8 | 3.9 mm | ISO 80

Wide-angle | 1/296 sec | f/2.8 | 3.9 mm | ISO 80
Olloclip 3-In-One iPhone Photo Lens Verdict
You can purchase the Olloclip for just short of £60, making it less than £20 per lens and when you consider the quality of the macro and the fun you'll have using the fisheye lens, it is a decent purchase. There are a couple of minor niggles which can hopefully be ironed out in future releases, such as the vignetting when using the wide-angle lens and covering of the lock screen button.
