David Thorpe has been putting the Olympus 17mm f//1.2 lens through its paces but with a price tag that's quite a bit more than its f/1.8 relative, is it worth spending a little bit more cash for? This is just one of the questions David will be answering in his review, of which, you can click 'play' on above.

"I don't need one, but I want one and that's why I don't like it," Says David Thorpe on the Olympus 17mm f/1.2 lens.

The Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm f/1.2 PRO has a close focus distance of 20cm and features an ED-DSA (Extra-low Dispersion Dual Super Aspherical) lens element, designed to reduce lens aberrations. The lens is also weather-sealed and features 9 aperture blades along with 15 elements in 11 groups.
