Jimmy Cheng

Olympus have announced that they have a new video ambassador - Jimmy Cheng will be joining their team and supporting workshops and imagery.

Jimmy joins the Olympus photographer program as an ambassador specialising in videography.

Jimmy Cheng LRPS is a self-taught and awarded photographer and filmmaker. Given a film point and shoot camera when he was 13 from his mother, he developed an interest in recording the journey of life. This passion continued through his university days and his early part of career as an engineer.

Everything changed when he was contacted and subsequently interviewed and published by Business Insiders US and later with other publications on his travel documentary of China, he turned passion into profession. Jimmy became a creative content creator in both stills and video formats and continued to document the journey of life in various ways.

Currently using the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark ll and E-M1 X, Jimmy shoots many commercial requests and generates educational content for his YouTube channel Red35 Photography.

Olympus are also pleased to announce dates for Jimmy’s first video workshop on Friday 27 September at their central London Gallery, After Nyne.
