Holidays and Courses

Olympus is set to host three very different workshops for photographers of all levels at various locations across the UK.

For those interested in learning more about wedding photography a 'Wedding Photography Masterclass' will be taking place on Thursday 27 March 2014 at Madingley Hall, Cambridge.

Priced at £55, the Spring Wedding Experience is designed to equip aspiring professional photographers with all of the skills necessary to shoot their first wedding. Adam Duckworth will be on-hand to offer expert tuition and attendees will gain experience shooting a bride and groom and select wedding party members within an actual wedding venue.

On Sunday 30 March 2014 Robert Pugh will be hosting an outdoor portrait workshop, priced at £115, on the streets of London. Course attendees will learn how to make the most of natural light and introduce off-camera flash (speedlights) for a more creative look to your images while scouting for ideal urban locations.

For landscape photography fans there's a landscape photography holiday taking place between 31 March 2014 and 04 April 2014.

It's a landscape photography holiday for all levels of expertise and attendees will be tutored by professional photographer Derek Forss.

Photo locations for this holiday in the Yorkshire Dales include: Malham Cove & Tarn, Stainforth Force, Bolton Abbey, Ilkley Moor and Saltaire.

The photographic holiday is priced at £499 and includes full board accommodation, tuition and transport to places of photographic interest. Visit the Olympus Image Space for more information.

Don't forget that photographer and Olympus-user Nick Danziger will be joining a panel of well-known authors to offer their unique perspectives on Afghanistan this Thursday, too. The talk takes place at the Royal Geographical Society, London and more information can be found here about the event: Afghanistan - A Literary Intervention
