Olympus Mirrorless PEN Range Gets An Update With Stylish E-PL8

The Olympus mirrorless family has got that little bit bigger with the introduction of the E-PL8 - a PEN featuring a new shape, leather look finish and built-in Wi-Fi.

Olympus seem to be targeting bloggers, fashionistas and millennials with this PEN as the Olympus team has made it even easier to capture and upload stills and video to social media. Plus, the flip-down LCD is ideal for selfies and it gives users touch-screen access to key controls including shutter release/record, the exposure slider and creative Art Filters. 

The Photos and movie clips can be edited on camera, and music or other effects added, then combined into one file for upload via Wi-Fi, a compatible  smartphone  and the free OI.Share App. 

Despite its metal body and interchangeable lenses, the E-PL8 is light and compact enough to slip easily into a small bag and it will come in pure white, black with silver details, or in vintage brown. The body weighs 326 grams and costs £399.99 or it's available along with the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm 1-3.5-5.6 EZ Pancake lens as a kit for £499.99.

The E-PL8, which is the latest PEN to be introduced to the series after the E-PL7 back in 2014, will be available from October 2016.
