Film Compacts

Olympus Superzoom 80S 35mm cameraDespite the digital camera market continuing to grow in popularity many photographers still favour film cameras to capture those precious moments. The new Olympus Superzoom 80S is brought to you from Europes market leader in analogue photography and manufactured in the renowned Olympus tradition of elegant and compact camera design.

The Superzoom 80S is comprised of four elements; a precise 2x zoom lens (38-80mm) allows you to capture subjects in clear detail. Framing is conducted via a real-image viewfinder that gives photographers a full view of their chosen shot no matter the zoom factor. To guarantee all shots are sharp the camera utilises an active-type autofocus system. Finally a programmed electronic shutter (1/125th 2 seconds) ensures optimal exposure with sensitivity set automatically for ISO 100 and 400 film.

Seven preset modes are included to make life easy. These include five flash modes (auto, red-eye reduction, flash off, fill-in and red-eye reduction night scene). Moreover, in landscape mode, sharp, clear shots of distant scenery are captured in perfect detail. Superzoom 80S photographers can also get themselves in the picture by using the cameras self-timer. Finally, for economy and convenience, two regular AA (LR6) type batteries power the metal plated camera.
