The OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone arrives on 14 May 2019 and OnePlus are already sharing images captured with the new smartphone on their social media feeds.
| OnePlus 7 Pro in Camera PhonesThe OnePlus 7 Series is on its way, that's no secret, and with the launch event just over 2 weeks away, OnePlus has shared sample images captured with the OnePlus 7 Pro.
OnePlus smartphones usually have a number, such as the OnePlus 6, which is then followed a little later by a T version, such as the OnePlus 6T. But this time, it looks like OnePlus are going with the branding we've seen from the likes of Huawei, with the term 'Pro' appearing in the name. We don't know if this means there will be different versions of the smartphone released or if OnePlus will be just introducing a single flagship model to the range but all will be revealed on 14 May 2019.
As for the images shared by OnePlus, they seem to demonstrate the smartphone's zoom capabilities, focusing on a bird and getting closer to it each frame. Take a look:

A teaser campaign has also been launched in the New York Times newspaper which says:
"No bells & whistles, no bezel, no notch, no app lag, no bloatware, no $2000 price tag, no random music."
The ad suggests we'll see a back-to-basics smartphone with an edge-to-edge screen, perhaps a camera cutout in the screen and better performance without a hefty price tag. What OnePlus means by 'no random music' we're not sure...
For those interested, you can watch the launch live (14 May 2019 at 4 PM BST) on the OnePlus website.
