Stuart Fawcett went to the Red Bull music studios last night to see the new GoPro Hero 3 camera.

It's the release party for the latest fastest and smallest action camera and this model's called the GoPro Hero 3. GoPro say it's the 'world's most versatile camera' as you can wear it or fix it to various pieces of gear. This means you can record images when you're riding, diving, jumping or driving, making it an ideal camera for outdoor and adventure sports enthusiasts.
The GoPro Hero 3 is available in 3 colours: black, silver and white, however Ortis Deley says: 'black is the coolest!'
The GoPro Hero 3 range features extreme sports cameras that have from 5 to 12Mp, HD video and Wi-Fi built in. These are excellent go anywhere cameras and if you’re interested you should check out the main web site video that's shot on the black version – I’d be nervous of taking myself to these places let alone my camera! But you seem to be able to fit and forget the hero camera and immerse yourself in the scenes and the skills of the riders or even just the beauty of scenes where you’d not normally ever take your DSLR!

For a few hundred pounds you’ll get a camera that shoots in the new 4K video format for super video resolution. At 12fps this may seem slow but it would make for some awesome high-speed action sequences in amazing cinema quality.
There is also the 30 photos per second burst mode, 'professional' low light performance, loads of accessories and a free (for now) app to stream videos straight to the web.
Watching all these videos made me want to get back on my bike and add a hero to record all the great times I remember and imagine.
Just go look at the GoPro website to see what I mean, seeing the results is really believing with this camera.
