Panasonic 1.4x Tele Converter Video Review

A 200mm f/2.8 lens is a fairly standard offering, but when you realise the lens in question is for the Micro Four Thirds (MFT) format and you take into account the 2x crop factor, it suddenly becomes a much more exciting prospect. Then, if you couple this with a teleconverter, your millimetres are extended even further and for a much more reasonable price than optics with this kind of reach usually, cost.  

The lens we're talking about is the Panasonic Leica DG Elmarit 200mm f/2.8 Power O.I.S and MFT fan, David Thorpe, has added the Panasonic 1.4x teleconverter to it so the resulting 280mm f/4 optic has a '35mm-equivalent' of 560mm! It can also be used on the Panasonic 200mm f/2.8 prime lens to add reach without adding too much weight/bulk (just 115g to be precise) to a photographer's kit bag.
