Panasonic Leica 100 400mm Zoom Lens (6)

The new Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm f/4-6.3 ASPH. telephoto zoom lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras gives the equivalent of 200-800mm in 35mm terms, making it one of the longest telephoto zoom lenses available for Micro Four Thirds cameras. The lens features Power Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) to help keep images steady, although when using a lot of optical zoom, a tripod is recommended, unless you are shooting in excellent lighting conditions. The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm f/4-6.3 ASPH telephoto zoom lens is available for pre-order for £1349 from Amazon UK.

Images shown below were taken with the 20 megapixel Panasonic Lumix GX8 and a pre-production version of the Panasonic made Leica DG 100-400mm lens. Panasonic say that the lens is representative of final image quality, and you can view the full-size original photos by simply clicking the "High Res" link.
