David Thorpe reviews the serious compact Panasonic Lumix LX100 in his video review.
| Panasonic Lumix LX100 in Compact CamerasThe Panasonic Lumix LX100 is Panasonic's premium serious compact camera, and features a Micro Four Thirds sensor, a bright 24-70mm f/1.7-2.8 lens, a 3inch screen, and an electronic viewfinder. It was recently awarded an "Editor's Choice" award in ePHOTOzine's review. The Panasonic Lumix LX100 is available for £539.
Reviewer David Thorpe says that the LX100's compact size makes it an appealing camera for those that want Micro Four Thirds image quality in a compact camera, and says that the provided compact flash is a nice addition, as well as 4K video. David likes the manual controls available on the camera, saying it makes it easy to see what's going on with the camera settings. Negatives found by David Thorpe include the lack of a touch-screen, which is common on other Panasonic cameras.

Having said that I agree with everything David Thorpe says in his review - this is an absolute belter of a compact. I thought the LX5 was good but this blows it away because it has the bigger sensor and a viewfinder.
I've taken some good shots with mine and will shortly add some to my PF here on ePz.
I thoroughly recommend the LX100.
