Designed to be smaller than a modern smart phone, but delivering higher image quality and a 5x optical zoom lens, the Panasonic Lumix XS1 has been announced, with an ultra thin body, just 14mm at the thinnest point, and built in optical image stabilisation. The XS1 is due to be available in February in red, black, white or violet.
