Paramo jackets

Paramo has announced two new jackets, along with updates to an old favourite.

The new Paramo Torres pioneers a new overlayering technology providing insulation. The technology lets you add an extra insulating layer over your jacket without exposing yourself to cold or wet. Torres overlayers allow rapid but simple ‘on the move’ temperature adjustment in situations where adding conventional mid-layers is difficult and counter-productive.

The Páramo Torres range comprises jackets and gilets for men and women, with different fill weights and designs. The moisture-repellent synthetic fill delivers a high warmth-for-weight ratio, the down-like feel and performance insulates you even if wet.

Prices start at £99 for the gilet.

Also announced was the Paramo Velez, an all new multi-activity jacket. It offers generous venting options for temperature adjustment and a new 'halo' hood design allows it to move with the user. The mens Velez jacket retails for £275.

The Enduro jacket has also received an update. It has an improved fit and style while taking functionality to the next level. Both new jackets are durable, recyclable and ethically produced. They are PFC free. The new improved Enduro will retail for £370.

We recently reviewed the Paramo mens Helki jacket, which received a 4.5 star highly recommended rating.
