A unique opportunity to buy cameras and images from the collection of the late Earl of Lichfield presents itself at a specialist Photographic Auction to be held by Special Auction Services in Newbury on Thursday 17 July 2014.

Patrick Lichfield (1939-2005) was an internationally renowned photographer whose work was published in all the major magazines and exhibited worldwide; he also published several books during his career. The National Portrait Gallery dedicated a retrospective exhibition to the first twenty years of his work in 2002.

This collection of around forty lots primarily consists of the cameras he worked with on a daily basis and his framed pictures, which hung on the walls of his London Studio.
