PENTAX Imaging Company is pleased to announce the addition of several
new sport optics products in advance of SHOT SHOW 2007.
The PENTAX DCF ED line of premium binoculars features
extra-low dispersion (ED) glass for the highest level of optical
performance in their class. These roof-prism binocular models include
super reflective, phase-coated prisms and feature excellent impact
resistance and superb waterproofing. With a bright, clear field of
view, hybrid aspherical lenses for superior edge-to-edge sharpness, and
JIS Class 6 waterproof construction, the DCF ED binoculars are the
perfect observation tool for the most difficult viewing conditions.
The PENTAX DCF HRc series roof-prism binoculars offer a
bright, clear field of view in a lightweight package. PENTAX applies
multi-layer optical coatings to all lenses and prisms to boost the
amount of transmitted light, and each model features silver-deposited
roof prisms with high light-reflection ratios. Together, these elements
create a brighter and clearer field of view for the user. PENTAX also
applied a phase-correcting prism coating that enhances the binoculars’ resolution and

under US $900 in 8x32, 8x43, 10x43 and 10x50 sizes.
PENTAX also announced two new series of spotting scopes that
combine exceptional image performance during outdoor observation. The
PENTAX PF-63ZOOM Spotting Scope is a compact, lightweight spotting
scope perfect for outdoor viewing. Featuring a bright field of view,
rubber coating and JIS Class 6 waterproof construction, this PENTAX
spotting scope uses a 63mm compact objective lens and offers increased
mobility by making the eyepiece integrated with the body.
Featuring Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass, the high
performance PENTAX PF-65 series of spotting scopes include the PF-65ED
II (straight-line type) and the PF-65ED-A II (angled type). Each model
offers a high-level balance between exceptional image performance and
image quality for field use or for conducting zoom photography when
connected to a digital camera.
