Ricoh has announced a new addition to the Q series of cameras, the Pentax Q-S1.

The Pentax Q-S1 is a stylish and compact mirrorless camera which Pentax say is ideal for all levels of photographers and for everyday use. It features a 1/1.7 inch back-illuminated CMOS sensor with ISO up to 12800, and a built-in reliable shake reduction system.

The Q-S1 will be available from early September 2014 for £299.99 body only, £379.99 with a 5-15mm lens and £549.99 with a 5-15mm and 15-45mm lens.

I sad to see so few people excited about a new Q, all right it just a posh looking updated Q7, but still, its great to see the Q line carrying on.

The Q's a great camera system, really fun and a joy to use. shame the "small sensor" puts people off. Remember it's not size that counts, but how you use it Tongue
