PermaJet have now announced a new Direct Injection system called Eco-Flo, that they have spent the last 18 months developing.
The special delivery system has been designed to feed ink from an external bottle unit up a ribbon of tubes into a special module, which replaces the standard set of cartridges.
This new technology has been under long term testing which established that virtually no head cleans were required even if left for weeks at a time. This is a huge step forward for consumer confidence as it means less wear and tear on the printer, with even further savings on ink and user time.
R2400 Eco-Flo systems come complete with nine cartridges and tubes, allowing easy change-over between the Photo and Matt Black. This spare cartridge sits under a specially developed lid, making the changeover extremely easy to carry out. A unique clamping device allows the user to cut off the ink to either the Photo or Matt Black cartridge that is not in use. This solves one of the most irritating issues of the inkjet world, where you need matt ink for art media and photo ink for gloss and lustre papers – you really can now have the best of both worlds!
The special cartridge technology is fitted with permanently full microchips so that each time you switch the printer on the ink levels always register as full.
