'Phantom' by Peter Lik

Peter Lik has sold a print of his image 'Phantom', shown above, for a whopping $6.5 million dollars. This makes it the most expensive print ever sold.

The print was sold to a private collector, who also purchased Lik's 'Illusion' and 'Eternal Moods' works for $2.4 million and $1.1 million respectively.

The sale gives Lik 4 spots in the top 20 most expensive photographs ever sold. He already holds a position for the $1 million sale of the framed image 'One'.

'Phantom' is a black and white representation of a colour image taken in Arizona's Antelope Canyon, and shows a beam of light resembling a spirit like figure.
