Photo Studio 11.5 Minor Update Brings Major Upgrades

inPixio has launched an update to Photo Studio Pro (Window) that features new AI photo editing tools for sky replacement and background removal.

New Auto Remove Background and Cut-Out

With update 11.5, you now get access to easy-to-use background removal tools which harness inPixio's AI technology so you no longer have to select the foreground and background of your picture. Instead, AI detects the parts of the photo to remove. After the AI has done its work, you can move straight to replacing or blurring the background. If you’re using the Photomontage tab, you can add the automatic cut-out straight to your picture.

If needed, you can refine your cut-out and manual background removal is still available for those who prefer to keep full control over their editing.

New Auto Sky Replacement

In addition to automatic background removal, it is now possible to remove a sky from an image in one click. The same AI technology is used to detect/remove skies and like with the background removal tool, you can refine the selection or even opt to work manually if you so wish. 

AI background removal and sky replacement are available in the Pro and Ultimate versions of Photo Studio 11 now (Windows version only).
