Andrew Whyte is a famous LEGO photographer and his recent project has taken him to London where he joined a LEGO Batman Minifigure for a city-themed photo shoot.
Whyte is best known for his LEGO tourist series which sees a little LEGO figure, camera in-hand, visiting various locations but this time, he's exchanged the tourist for the famous caped crusader.
The series sees Batman both embracing and struggling with daily life outside of Gotham which includes hailing cabs, grappling up steps, attending his own red carpet premiere and contending with pigeons in Trafalgar Square. His sidekick Robin also makes an appearance in some of the action shots.

Whyte usually doesn't have company on his LEGO shoots but this time, he was accompanied by Will Arnett - the voice behind Batman in the new film The LEGO Batman Movie.
Whyte guided Arnett through the perspective shot process so he could capture some shots of Batman in the city with his smartphone. Arnett also lent his Batman voice to some of the images and video Whyte captured to give his work another creative twist.

Commenting on the shoot, Whyte said: "His (Batman's) role as a protector and watcher over the city lends itself perfectly to this nature of photography, as the minifigure interacts with the city of London and all its quirks. My shoot is a mixture of brooding intensity as Batman watches over London like he would Gotham, with humour as he struggles with the pitfalls of life in the Big Smoke, from pigeons to public transport."
