David Hamilton

Photographer, David Hamilton has been found dead in his Paris apartment. David Hamilton's photography books depicted 13 to 14 year old girls often naked or semi-naked. His work was described as artistic nudes by some, but also perverse and pornographic by others.

Earlier this month, he was accused of sexually assaulting four women when photographing them in France in the 70s, after French journalist Flavie Flament had gone public in October. Claims which David Hamilton denied

His books were known as "The Age of Innocence" (1995), "Dreams of a Young Girl" (1971), and "Les Contest Erotiques" (2007), which translates as "Erotic tales".

David Hamilton's books were once declared by Surrey Police as illegal, and owning "The Age of Innocence" resulted in one man being convicted of owning child pornography in 2010, however, this was later overturned on appeal in 2011.
