Photographer Uses Truck As A Wet Plate Camera

Ian Ruhter has turned his truck into a portable wet plate collodion camera to capture amazing images of people, nature and more.

Photographer Ian Ruhter's camera of choice is rather unique, well actually, unique's probably the wrong term to use because how many photographers do you know have converted a truck into a portable wet plate collodion camera? The camera itself is impressive, but the images Ian produces with this particular set-up are even more so. The images he captures are featured in a documentary titled 'Silver & Light'.

The short video looks at the process Ian goes through, which isn't without its problems, to capture these unique images which cost almost $500 each and you can view it below.
