Photographing Dew Drops With Tamron Lenses: Michael Dickel

Michael Dickel is a very busy man, as Tamron's General Sales Manager and whilst at the photo festival in Zingst this year, he tried his hand at dew drop photography as a spot of stress relief.

"On the Baltic sea, the relaxed atmosphere was infectious", he says. "I wanted to use the beautiful weather on the coast to take a refreshing trip into the countryside... and I noticed how the damp meadows would sparkle because of the dew."

Michael used Tamron's new SP 90mm f/2.8 Macro lens to capture the dew up-close. "I quickly lost myself on foot in the world of small things", Michael enthuses. "Such fascinating detail! The physics of detail, the perfection of the drops, the refraction of the rays of light - I can really get excited about these little subtleties."

Michael was impressed by the qualities Tamron lenses bring out in these delicate subjects.
