Image taken with the Tamron 35mm lens by Lisa Fiege/Jordan Schneider
Recently, fashion bloggers Lisa Fiege and Jochen Schneider from 'The L Fashion' used the Tamron SP 35mm lens to photograph New York from a variety of perspectives.
The couple headed to some of the major tourist hot spots in the city, and said that they couldn't fault the Tamron SP 35mm. "35mm in full format is one of the best focal lengths for city breaks. The lens isn’t as heavy as a zoom, and isn’t too wide-angle for portraits (hello, big nose!) and you can still get all the landmarks into the photo, even if they’re very high.", said Lisa.
So, did the couple have any tips for capturing fantastic photos? "You get the best photos in New York at sunset; unfortunately, word of that has got around, so getting a photo without a tourist in it is like winning the lottery. When you see an opening, you only have a few seconds to make use of it. Since my boyfriend and I are very persistent when it comes to getting the perfect photo, we jump into these openings pretty quickly to get a shot.", explained Lisa.
