What To Photograph With A Zoom Lens

Tamron's 70-200mm zoom lens lets you do lots of different things with your shots, and is extremely versatile. The beauty of a zoom lens is that you have a variety of focal lengths in one lens. What this means is that you can save on room when travelling and also save on weight when heading out for a long walk. Here are some situations where a zoom lens will be useful:

Wildlife photography - For good wildlife photos, it's often necessary to get up close and personal to your subject. As you often can't get close to your subject a longer focal length is needed. Landscape shots - A zoom lens might not be your first thought when heading out for some landscape photography, but they give you the chance to shoot the popular wider landscape as well as shots with longer focal lengths that focus on one aspect of the landscape. As mentioned above, it also means you can head out with just one lens rather than a bag full of kit.
