PhotoWorks is a photo editor for your computer that is designed to beat Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom at their own game. While these established brands have a steep learning curve and require a clear understanding of the desired effect, PhotoWorks doesn’t push amateur photographers into the world of complex and multi-stage edits. Its user-friendly interface and powerful instant improvements will pleasantly surprise photography lovers all over the world. Though, the software’s high-performance can win over photography veterans too.
Automatic photo editing powered by AI is the forte of PhotoWorks, but it doesn’t require high-end hardware to reveal its full potential. The software will work fine even on an old Windows XP laptop or an average computer for home use. It’s designed for extreme ease of use and fast performance, which is vital for both amateur and professional photographers. No more confusion with a slew of tiny icons, no more cumbersome selections, no more wasting time on routine tasks - this photo editor for PC lets you focus on your pictures and the final look you want to give them.
Leave All Tricky and Complex Edits to Auto-Correction
Tired of auto-correction that fixes one thing but breaks another? Then you should opt for a content-aware photo editor, and PhotoWorks is exactly that. Its digital brain distinguishes between portrait and landscape shots and makes the adjustments that your image really needs. Let's say you're quite happy with its tonal range but would like more colour, then you could uncheck the dynamic range and add vibrancy. Plus, there's a slider that adjusts the strength of the auto effect applied so you can make it just right for your photo.
At the same time, PhotoWorks gives you as much manual control as you want. In the program, you’ll find useful features without any confusing terminology. There are basic enhancement settings to adjust hue, saturation, luminance (HSL) and colour balance with high precision. The Blur tool will help you create dreamy soft-focus effects, while the Sharpen tool will make every detail brisk and clear. An easy-to-use histogram chart accompanies all of your edits and carefully shows how the tonal values of your image change with each change applied.
Cover Any Imperfections to Bring Out the True Beauty
Does the model in your photo lack glowing skin and a dazzling smile? PhotoWorks has the edge over many portrait editing products as there’s no imperfection it cannot fix. Portrait Magic is a real gem of the program that is hard to find in many top-end photo editors. This smart module harnesses the power of face recognition technology to automatically enhance portraits. Use this cutting-edge tool to retouch faces and show your subjects at their best: remove wrinkles and blemishes, even out skin tone, add a light tan or blush to the cheeks, whiten teeth and brighten eyes.
Like Portrait Magic, Face Sculpt is a remarkable tool that can totally transform any portrait. Fixing an unflattering headshot to meet the client’s expectations used to be a strenuous task, but now it’s quick as a wink. Move a slider and watch this photo editor for PC identify and alter the chosen part of the face: be it eyes, lips, nose or the whole face shape. Of course, you can do these things manually in Photoshop, but it is so much easier with PhotoWorks: a deft picture editor and portrait retoucher in one.
Completely Change the Background Without a Trace
Sometimes it will take too long to fix the existing photo background - it might be too busy, boring or simply out of place - and the only option would be to replace it with a new one. This experience used to be so overwhelming when you needed to carefully cut out the subject and then erase the background remains for a neat look. PhotoWorks makes the process of separating the subject from its background ridiculously simple!
Select the object brush and draw a green line to mark the person in your photo - the part you want to keep. Pick the background brush, lay a few strokes over a poor backdrop, and the image editor works its magic on your shot. After that, you just need to refine the edges a bit using the same brushes. There's even a choice of free-to-use pictures you can add as backgrounds, or you can upload your own. Send your photo subject anywhere in the world, or place it against a more comfortable setting.
