The Pixii digital rangefinder, first announced in 2018, is now available to buy from Pixii's website. The "connected digital rangefinder" is designed to be used with a smartphone, as there is no rear screen. The digital rangefinder is a cheaper alternative to a Leica, being priced at €2900/£2619* (8GB) or €2700/£2438* (4GB). The camera is available in Space Gray or Black Matte, however, the 8GB version has already sold out.

The Pixii features a 12mp APS-C CMOS sensor, with an ISO range of ISO320 to ISO2500, and is compatible with M-Mount lenses. The optical viewfinder has a magnification of 0.67x, with LED-backlit frame lines for standard prime lenses: 28mm, 35mm, 40mm and 50mm. The camera has built-in Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It uses a Sony NP-FW50 lithium-ion battery, so spares should be readily available. The camera has manual and automatic controls, which can be seen on a top OLED control panel.

A lot of noise on those ISO320 pictures! Ridiculous price and stupid dependence on a phone, you are never going to have enough hands to operate it - this is a FAIL with me I'm afraid.
